A one-night stay in Dhikala, Jim Corbett National Park, can be a memorable wildlife experience. Here’s a sample itinerary for a 1-night stay in Dhikala:
Day 01: Morning Departure to Dhikala
Leave for Dhikala from your starting point (usually from Ramnagar) post breakfast. Forest lodges inside Dhikala Check-in Time is 12:00 pm.
Arrival at Dhikala: Arrive at the Dhikala Zone gate, Dhangari. You’ll need to show your permits and provide the necessary documentation for entry. After all clearance move forward to the forest lodge. Check in at the forest rest house where you’ll be staying.
Lunch: Enjoy a meal at the accommodation’s canteen or dining area and take some rest.
Afternoon Jeep Safari: Head out for an afternoon jeep safari in the Dhikala zone. This is the perfect time to spot wildlife as many animals are active during the cooler hours of the day. Keep an eye out for tigers, elephants, deer, and a variety of bird species.

Return to Accommodation: After the safari, return to your accommodation. Freshen up and relax.

Day 02: Morning Jeep Safari
Wake up early and head out for a morning jeep safari. The early hours are ideal for bird watching and possibly catching a glimpse of a hunting tiger. Don’t forget your camera!
Breakfast: Return to the accommodation for breakfast.
Explore the Area: After breakfast, you can explore the Dhikala compound on foot. Take a walk around and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings.
Check-Out: 11:00 am – Check out of your accommodation, Start your journey back to your starting point at Ramnagar.
